In this edition of the Weekly Update, Blockmason at Hack the North, new partnership in the works, Blockmason Link exploring new integration with Credit Protocol.

Blockmason at Hack the North

Hello Blockmason community, we are going to be attending Hack the North this weekend, one of the largest Hackathons in North America.

We will be providing regular updates on Link and the Credit Protocol from the event. We are excited to be able to bring both products to more developers to expand our audience and make new connections. After the event, we will have several new announcements, so stay tuned.

What is Hack the North?

Hack the North is Canada’s biggest hackathon, where 1,000+ students of different skill levels come together from around the world to experiment and create unique software or hardware projects from scratch. Hack the North empowers and enables teams to make something great in only 36 hours by providing an abundance of resources like workshops, mentors, sponsors, and hardware components.

New Partnership in the Works

We are still in early-stage discussions, but we are really excited about a new partnership in the works. Although we can’t share anything yet, we want the community to know that we are working hard on establishing strong relationships with big players working in blockchain today.

We continue to strive towards making Link and the Credit Protocol an integral part of the growing blockchain space.

Link Software Development Kits Available in Multiple Languages

We continue to push out new Software Development Kits! We want to make sure that your favorite language is supported.

For Link developers who have not already heard, we have all new Software Development Kits including dedicated kits for JavaScript, Java, .NET, and we have just added a Ruby SDK, You can check it out today!

Blockmason Link Exploring New Integration with Credit Protocol

Blockmason is currently exploring a new way for more developers to utilize the Credit Protocol through Link APIs. Blockmason’s Credit Protocol is a standardized, reliable and secure method for recording and permanently storing debt and credit obligations on the blockchain.

Lndr is our peer-to-peer bill-splitting and expense-sharing mobile app for iOS and Android. It uses the Credit Protocol and the Ethereum blockchain to create, manage and settle casual debts and IOUs between friends. Essentially, “Venmo of the blockchain.”
