Welcome to the Blockmason Weekly Update!
Hello, Blockmason community! Another week is upon us, which means it’s time for another Weekly Update.
In this edition of the Weekly Update, we’ll share the advanced guide to using Lndr, the next big thing in Lndr and more.
Are you ready? Let’s get started!
The Advanced Guide to Using Lndr, the only crypto-ready expense sharing mobile app
Built by Blockmason, Lndr is a peer-to-peer bill-splitting and expense-sharing mobile app that uses the Credit Protocol and the Ethereum blockchain to create, manage and settle casual debts and IOUs between friends.
While Lndr is similar to some peer-to-peer payment apps out there, it’s different in many ways. For example, Lndr is free to use and doesn’t contain any annoying ads or ask for any personal information. Lndr also doesn’t store, keep or sell any of your transaction details. With Lndr, your transactions are anonymously recorded to the Ethereum blockchain. Lndr offers best-in-class privacy and security so you can feel safe using it.
Lndr also offers you the flexibility to choose how you want to settle up with friends. It’s the first app to offer settlement in both traditional currencies or cryptocurrencies. Lndr also features integrated PayPal support. You won’t have to connect a bank account or share any credit card details.
So, without further adieu, let’s explore our Advanced Guide to Using Lndr.
The next big thing in Lndr is coming…
Lndr v1.4 will feature new $2000 cryptocurrency settlement with KYC.
Our development team is hard at work on the latest update to Lndr, scheduled for release in October. We’re excited to share a sneak peek at what’s coming in Lndr v1.4.
The headline feature in v1.4 is the addition of our Know Your Customer or “KYC” system. KYC is an optional, secure feature which allows Lndr users to confirm their true identity. Once confirmed, cryptocurrency settlement options will increase from $200 to $2,000 in USD value per week. This is a significant increase which allows users to split larger expenses, like shared rent or travel costs.
Here are some of the other fixes and changes coming in Lndr v1.4:
Bug fix to address issues where the debt amount and Ether (ETH) amount do not match when recording certain settlements
The Settle Up summary is now presented first when a user settles an outstanding debt
New messaging when Lndr encounters a network connectivity issue
Lndr v1.4 will be released soon. Stay tuned for more details and updates!
