First ever mobile app on the blockchain tracking debts and obligations – and first ever consumer mobile app with ETH settlement.
Our team has been working tirelessly on new developments — and we have some great news to share with you.
We are thrilled to announce that ETH settlement will now be available in new release versions of Lndr dapp.
This is something that we are very excited to bring to our testers community, and into an upcoming public release of Lndr. We are especially excited about the implementation of this feature, as we were initially planning to bring it at a much later stage. This is a huge development from our programming team, that has also been working hard on side-chain solutions, inspired by the Cryptokitties slowing down transactions on Ethereum.
Initially, Lndr’s settlement feature will have a maximum of $200 per week in ETH settlement. This is consistent with the dapp’s purpose — for friends lending to each other, family, vacations, trips, and dining out. We expect to raise the transaction limit over time. Users will be able to send the cryptocurrency to Lndr from their other accounts that hold ETH.
Beneficially, however, Lndr does not limit the amounts of tracked debts and obligations between friends and family. Thus, users can always track larger sums. In this case, they will be able to settle these obligations via other means, or via the maximum of $200 per week on Lndr, subject to a future increase of that limit.
For future dapps built on the Credit Protocol, we anticipate higher limits — things like loans or debts for homes, cars, furniture, college, etc. In these cases, monthly payments will be commensurate with the item amount and the agreement between the parties.
How big is this?
Many notable ICOs happened during 2017 — but very few produced a working product that is in live testing within a community. Despite the Credit Protocol ICO coming later in the year, we are proud to be one of the fastest deliveries of a real product in the history of Ethereum ICOs.
Further, we are the first debt tracking tool ever built on the blockchain, one of the very first consumer dapps ever available (i.e. not for the purpose of buying cryptocurrency), and the first consumer dapp that allows ETH settlements.
We thank you for your continuous support to our cause, and for making us a part of your thinking about the future of the blockchain space, how it can benefit the world, and change our daily lives.
We are grateful for all the members of the Credit Protocol community, and look forward to a great 2018!
- Lndr is currently in a Beta stage and will be available on the App and Google Play stores once Eth settlement is fully integrated.
